Photograph of a deer buck standing in snow with more snow falling in winter. This is a four point black-tailed deer buck that I found in my neighbor's yard one winter day. I tracked him by following his trail of hoof prints through the snow. The buck is staring right at me in the photograph, and some snowy tree branches can be seen to the side of the picture. This is a charming winter scene showing an animal in snow.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature.
